About Me

My name is Lindsay Nicole Weaver and I'm a 20-something Chattanooga native who is learning to embrace her inner southerner. I am a daughter, sister, friend, fiance, worship leader and most importantly a follower of Christ. 

I am on this journey called life with my Lord and Savior. He holds my hand through every joy and every trial, and it is through Him that I have learned to read between the lines. I believe He reveals Himself in the big events of life as well as the small ones. There is always something to be learned about Him and who we are in relationship with Him. That is what this blog is all about.

My family means the world to me. My beautiful mom, Kim, is my best friend and the most godly woman I have ever met. She is fun and gracious and loving and wise. I would consider it an honor to be even half of the woman she is. 

My brother's name is Daniel. He and I have a very special connection, and have since birth. He is one of my best friends on earth, and no time or distance could alter that.

I am engaged to my best friend and love of my life. We met over two and a half years ago, and our romance has been a whirlwind ever since. (The story is much better told in person!) His name is Daniel as well, which gets really confusing! Just ask any of my friends or family. He has stood by me through one of the toughest seasons of my life. I could not be more thankful that the Lord brought him into my life.

Since I was a young girl writing has been my outlet. I feel I express myself best when I have time to reflect. My prayer is that God will use my ramblings and reflections somehow. That somehow He will create beauty from my ashes.
